Country Mushrooms was originally established in 1986 on the farm Wattlewood in the Bapsfontein area. The company was bought by the present shareholders in 1996. With the introduction of innovative technology, improved cultivation methods and expert guidance from top growers the production output on the two farms has been increased to a current average of about 60 tons per week.
